A notary desk or writing furniture from the 19th century in Belgium. Made of solid oak.
Standing on lion feet, 2 firmly connected base cabinets, each with a door behind which there is a drawer and a shelf. Above that there is a pull-out shelf with 2 brass buttons and above it a large drawer (new brass buttons have been installed here. The desk top with flap is on the top.
