A large late 18th-century Louis XVI armoire or cabinet from France. Made of solid oak with waxed surface.
Body, with rounded corners, and partially carved. Tall doors with carved festons hanging on large hand-made external brass hinges. 2 drawers are inside. As desired e.g. 4 shelves or clothes rail, or a 2-part division with both are included in the price.
Dimensions:
255 cm high / 100.4 inch high,
163 or 177 cm (head rail) wide / 64.17 or 69.7 inch ((head rail) wide,
56 or 66 cm (head rail) deep / 22.05 or 26 inch (head rail) deep.
The cabinet can be completely dismantled and reassembled with wooden dowels.
Very good condition. The shelve with the drawers inside has been replaced.
