Beschreibung

A early 19th century french provincial cabinet or wedding cabinet made of solid oak.

An authentic piece of furniture whose particular appeal lies in the combination of clear classic design and the charming texture of the old oak wood surface.

Traditionally crafted in stud construction, the oak body is moulded on the sides, with an overlying profiled cornice. Two doors, hung on external iron fittings, in frame construction with 3 panels each. Original iron fittings, lock and key.

Inside, the cabinet is fitted with 3 shelves. An alternative interior with a clothes rail or a partition (shelves and clothes rail) can also be made by arrangement.

Dimensions

Height: 211 cm / 83.07 inch,

Width: 146.5 cm / 57.67 inch,

Shelf depth: 49 cm / 19.29 inch.

Very good condition, ready for everyday use, with various traces of age including visible repairs (including feet) and old woodworm channels (nothing active!). See photos.

The old wax has been removed from the wood, revealing the beautiful natural surface of the raw old oak wood.
