A French buffet à deux corps cabinet. Circa mid 19th century. Solidly crafted in ash wood.

Two-part, laterally coffered and partially veneered in burl wood, consisting of a two-door base cabinet with large drawer and slightly protruding top, and a slightly recessed two-door top with moulded cornice. Both the drawer fronts, part of the cornice and the mouldings and panels of the framed doors feature an attractive burl wood veneer.

Inside, the cabinet is fitted with a shelf in the base unit and 3 further shelves in the top section in front of a solid cassette back panel.

The doors and drawer can be locked with the original locks.
