Large baroque chest of drawers (“commode galbée”) from the 2nd half of the 18th century. Solid oak wood and veneered.
An authentic piece in absolutely elegant puristic design.
Side coffered corpus with 4 drawers, exceptionally strongly curved (galbée) front and protruding profiled top.
Original locks and keys. Drop handles in brass.

In very good condition with slight signs of use due to age, ready for everyday use. The surface has been sanded and thus mostly freed from the old wax, revealing the beautiful texture of the oak wood with some patina.
