Exceptionally large wall mounted console table with marble top. from Liège, late 19th century.

A absolutely breathtaking unique piece and example of the high craftsmanship of the traditional Liège Baroque style.

Made of solid oak with multiple curved, skilfully floral and ornamentally carved front and sides with a corresponding profiled Belgian ‘brèches’ marble top. Molurised, multi-curved frame with a central rocaille-shaped cartouche in magnificent floral decoration.

Dimensions
Height: 27 cm / 10.62 inch. (Only the height of the piece. Of course, it can be mounted at any desired height.)
Width: 297 cm / 116.92 inch.
Depth: 43.5 cm (max.) / 17.12 inch.

Thickness of the marble top: 2.5 cm / 0.98 inch.

Beautiful patina finish to the wood.

The table must be attached to the wall at the desired height using brackets and long screws and plugs. The white columns in the photos are for illustrative purposes only.

Very good condition consistent with age and use.
