Beschreibung

Exceptionally large buffet cabinet from the late 19th century. Solidly crafted in oak with bleached surface.

Two-piece side-coffered oak body with 8 doors and 4 drawers, standing on 8 feet. The front with a central risalit is symmetrically divided by 4 fluted columns on the upper and lower sections. Each double door is flanked by 2 single doors in a frame and panel construction. Profiles and relief-like floral and ornamental carvings decorate the door panels, drawer fronts and cornice.
Original brass fittings and high-quality drop handles adorn the doors and drawers.
Inside, the cabinet is equipped with shelves that can be flexibly adjusted in height in the upper section, supported by tooth strips.

Dimensions
Height: 103.5 cm (base cabinet)/ 215 cm (total),
Width: 296 cm
Depth: 54 cm (outside)/ 59 cm (middle)

Shelf depths: 29 cm/ 34 cm at the top, 37 cm/ 40.5 cm at the bottom
Interior dimensions of the drawers: 8.5 cm high, 60 cm wide, 40/44 cm deep

Good condition with slight signs of age-related wear, including minor damage, e.g. to individual column bases (see photos). Three missing shelves have been added. The old dark surface coating has been removed from the outside of the wood and bleached, so that the natural texture of the old oak wood now appears unsealed and light in colour.

Additional photos available. Please just send a message.

The cabinet can be transported in 2 parts (upper part + lower part). In addition, the doors, drawers and shelves can be removed.
