Exceptionally large Louis Philippe mirror from France, circa 1850.
A representative piece above a mantelpiece, on a chest of drawers, a sideboard or a console table.
Pine wood and gesso with original poliment gilding and vine decoration. Profiled frame with bead moulding. Straight base, the upper corners rounded. Cassette back panel.
Original mirror glass, beautiful partially blinded due to age-related traces of corrosion on the silvering.
Great patina!
