A provincial chest of drawers from around 1800, made of solid oak.

A provincial chest of drawers from around 1800, made of solid oak.

A half-high corpus standing on a small plinth and coffered at the sides with fluted pilaster strips and a slightly overhanging profiled top plate cranked at the corners. Three drawers carved with profile frame decoration.

Wooden knobs on the drawer fronts. Without key.

Various traces of past restoration work. Among other things, the drawers behind the panels were replaced with plywood shelves over the years.

129 cm wide / 50.79 inch wide,
61 cm deep / 24.02 inch deep.

Good working condition with waxed surface.
