Beschreibung

Exquisite French Louis XV baroque sideboard from the Dijon region circa 1740. Made of walnut and oak.

Standing on 8 feet with 4 nicely carved scrolled cabriole legs between a beautiful cut and carved base on the front. There is a double door on the slightly protruding middle of the sideboard and two another single doors besides. All doors are with the original hinges. The fittings on the four drawers and on the doors have been replaced, as well as some construction parts on the inside years ago. Inside there is shelf behind each door.

A rare piece with very good dimension because of only shallow depth. It’s in good and absolutely usable condition and the old walnut has a wonderful natural warm patina.
