A small French Louis XIII style table from the late 19th century. Crafted from solid walnut with a very beautiful original patina.
A quality piece of furniture, very stylish as a side table or small console table.
Rectangular table frame consisting of four turned barley twist legs ending in pressed ball feet, with a profiled crossbar joint running all the way round and a frame with a drawer at the front. The tabletop, which overhangs all round, is secured to the frame with wooden dowels and can therefore be removed for transport. The piece is completed by a brass fitting featuring a lion’s head and a drop ring.
