German provincial Biedermeier period chest of drawers from the 1st half of the 19th century. A classic purist piece of furniture with an extremely decorative later added patina finish.
Straight oak body with slightly protruding top panel and three drawers with original brass fittings.

Internal dimensions of the drawers: 17 cm / 6.69 inch high, 106.5 cm / 41.92 inch wide, 48 cm / 18.89 inch deep.
Good restored condition. Among other things, the following work was carried out: Function of the drawers restored and the runners partially reconstructed. Gluing of the back panel including reconstruction of missing elements. Removal of the damaged surface sealing and complete sanding inside and out. Application of a new patina finish and sealing with wax.
