Beschreibung
Dark gray painted wardrobe or hall cupboard from the late Biedermeier period around 1850.
Demountable, laterally coffered softwood body with profiled cornice and two doors in frame and panel construction suspended on external iron fittings
The doors close with the original lock and key.
New interior fittings with a clothes rail and a shelf included.
Dimensions: 200 cm high, 166 cm (head bar) wide, 62 cm deep
Internal depth: 54 cm
Good condition, ready to live in, with slight signs of age-related wear. The colored version was later added, sanded decoratively and sealed with wax. The later finish and unique texture make the surface reminiscent of elephant skin.
The cabinet can be dismantled into several parts for transport (base, 2 sides, back wall, doors, cornice) and put back together without screws.
