A fine, round Biedermeier salon side table in cherry wood, solid and veneered. Probably from southern Germany, circa 1830. Restored ready for everyday use.
An elegant piece of furniture from the German Biedermeier period, featuring balanced proportions and classic lines, crafted to a high standard.
Standing on three curved legs with an interposed trefoil top, a round frame with a drawer and a slightly projecting top with superb radial or star-shaped veneer. The ebonised edges and the drawer knob provide a beautiful contrasting accent against the warm hue of the fine cherry wood.
