Beschreibung

Large classicist cabinet from the 1st half of the 19th century. Solidly crafted in softwood and oak. Ready to use with very beautiful patina.

A 2-part body assembled by means of wedge joints standing on a high plinth with 3 large drawers. Two doors in frame and panelled construction are hung on external brass fittings. Carved diamonds adorn both the 8 cassettes and the fronts of the drawers. The upper end is formed by a moulded cornice with a toothed frieze.

The right-hand door closes with the original lock and key, while the left-hand door can be opened and locked from the inside using 2 hand-forged iron sliding bolts.

An engraving on the brass fittings indicates that the cabinet was made in 1835.

Inside, the cabinet is fitted with 3 full-length shelves and the original coat hooks.
