A Galbée curved chest of drawers from the 2nd half of the 18th century. Made of solid oak wood.
Half-height oak corpus coffered at the sides with a curved front and rounded pilasters. Three drawers under a slightly overhanging multiple curved, profiled top.
All drawers lockable with one key each.
Key plates and knobs in brass.
Dimensions:
81 cm high / 31.88 inch high,
118.5 cm wide / 46.65 inch wide,
69.5 cm deep / 27.36 inch deep.
Authentic piece in good working condition with age-related signs of use, including visible previous repairs. The locks have been replaced.
Stripped of the old wax, revealing the beautiful natural surface and texture of the raw oak wood.
